Are all your listed items in stock?
With the Original and Reworked collections, all items will be in stock unless it says "Sorry I'm sold" against the item. In this case, you can email us to try and source something similar, with no obligation to buy the item unless you like it. Only with our New Vintage collection is there more than one item available, and everything on display will be in stock. Any item with the "Buy Now" button is available to buy.
How can I pay?
We accept Paypal, Google Checkout, Personal Cheques and Bank transfers
Our Violet Vintage ORIGINALS collection contains great examples of vintage and antique

How will my item be shipped?
All items are posted via our account with the Royal Mail Business Post - "Special Delivery or "Signed For" to the UK and "International Signed For" to the rest of the World. Tracking numbers can be provided on all items. Next day delivery is available for urgent gifts when orders are placed by 1pm.
Items are posted out within 2 working days of receipt of payment, unless the item is an urgent gift for next day delivery, in which case it will be sent that day. You will receive an email to let you know when your item is on its way. These will always be sent to the purchaser, never to a gift recipient.
Your item will be packed to the highest standards to ensure that it reaches you safely. All items are wrapped in our signature Violet Vintage packaging, and this is again wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a bubble envelope.
I need my gift urgently - Can you get it to me tomorrow?
The answer to this frequently asked question is yes, as long as the order is placed by 1pm, other than the rare occasions when we have to close the office due to clashing holidays, etc. In this situation, there will be a notice on the website to make this clear.
What condition are your items in?
The Originals and Reworked pieces are vintage and antique pieces and as such there may be minor signs of age. We normally sell items which are in excellent vintage condition however if a piece is particularly rare or desirable we may occasionally offer an item in fair or poor condition. Any defects should be mentioned in the description, and all items are covered by our peace of mind money back guarantee for safe return of the item.
How accurate are your weights, measurements & dating of items?
Weights and measurements are approximate and offered as a guide only. You can certainly expect any measurement to be accurate within a couple of mm and any weight to within 1 gram.
Dating of hallmarks, registration marks and manufacturers’ marks should be accurate. Items without manufacturers’ markings are dated using our knowledge, experience and vast reference library - this is subjective and done to the best of our ability. There can always be discussion about the dating of such pieces and we accept that it is possible for us to make the occasional error.
If you are in any way unhappy with the weight, measurement or dating of any item you receive from Violet Vintage, it can be returned for a full refund. Please notify us of your intention to return within 7 days of receipt.
