Finer Details
The obverse of the coin reads 'Victoria Dei Gratia Britt Regina F:D:' and the reverse has 'Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense' - literally translated form the old French as 'Shame be to him who thinks evil of it' from the old chivalrous story of King Edward III protecting Joan of Kent when her garter slipped down whilst dancing! This charm would be lovely made into one of our bespoke vintage charm pendants. Simply add on the chain that you'd like from the customisation options below, and add to cart any other items such as hand stamped silver discs, other charms or gemstones you might want hung together, and we'll make it up as a pendant for you. All silver bespoke pendants come with one of our VV stamped hallmarked discs at the clasp. You can leave specific instructions at checkout if you'd like the pieces hung in any particular order. All items come exquisitely boxed in our signature Violet Vintage packaging, and can be wrapped in your choice of gift wrap with a handwritten card if desired for a gift.
