Interesting and unusual vintage c1930s/40s gold tone metal (brass) cufflinks. These attractive and quirky cufflinks are made from two round button style pieces which are etched with a subtle chequered design. The buttons are joined together with a short chain, which is fitted to a spring mechanism as they pull apart as the chain lengthens, to make them easy to put on. They are a lovely old gold colour, and would look great with both evening wear and contemporary shirts.

Each cufflink 'button' measures 13mm in diameter, and they are c26mm in lengthe when not extended

Finer Details

These cufflinks are in good vintage condition with minor signs of wear commensurate with age. The fronts of the buttons have feint scratches which add to the vintage look, and one of the buttons is very slightly pressed in which is only noticeable upon close examination. The back of the cufflinks are stamped Made in England, Imitation (which will denote the brand name or the fact that although they look like solid gold, they are not!), & PAT 449790.
