Description

Very cool 24ct gold plated Eagle pendant from our Violet New Vintage Collection. This striking piece features a classic Eagle Hawk shaped pendant - a popular vintage motif since ancient times - and works well as a contemporary piece due to the boldness of the 24ct gold plating. The pendant is hung on an 18" curb chain, but please email us if you'd like a different chain length. These pendants work well with our hand stamped initial discs, to personlise with a short name or initial. Simply add on a disc and choose your letter(s).

Size:

The Eagle pendant measures c30mm in length and c23mm in width at its widest points. The chain is 18" long.

Finer Details

The 24 carat gold plating is a good, vintage style colour, and the pendant looks great hung with other vintage or vintage style jewellery, or on its own as a signature piece. The 18" curb chain fastens with a lobster clasp. The Eagle has long been used in ancient and antique jewellery as the 'King of the Air' to symbolise courage, strength, far-sightedness and immortality. The Eagle was particulalry prevalent in vintage 'war era' jewellery in the States.
