Ordering
On receipt of your order & payment in full, Violet Vintage will email you with confirmation of acceptance of your order, and of your despatch and estimated delivery details. Orders are tracked for peace of mind, and urgent gifts can be bought with a next day delivery option when the order is placed before 1pm, or occasionally later if arranged with the V V office – call for information (020) 7624 9822.
Condition of Items
The Originals and Reworked pieces are vintage and antique pieces and as such there may be minor signs of age. We try and list only items which are in excellent vintage condition, however if a piece is particularly rare or desirable we may occasionally offer an item in fair or poor condition. Any defects should be mentioned in the description, and all items are covered by our peace of mind money back guarantee for safe return of the item.
Accuracy of weights, measurements & dating
Weights and measurements are approximate and offered as a guide only. All measurements will be accurate within a couple of mm and any weight to within 1 gram. Dating of hallmarks, registration marks and manufacturers’ marks should be accurate. Items without manufacturers’ markings are dated using our knowledge, experience and vast reference library - this is subjective and done to the best of our ability. There can always be discussion about the dating of such pieces and we accept that it is possible for us to make the occasional error. If you are in any way unhappy with the weight, measurement or dating of any item you receive from Violet Vintage, it can be returned for a full refund. Please notify us of your intention to return within 7 days of receipt.
Returns – Our Peace of Mind Guarantee
We want you to be delighted with every purchase, so if you are not completely happy with anything you have bought for yourself or as a gift, you may send it back to us within a week in return for your choice of a full refund, an exchange or a hand stamped silver or gold tone gift token. Items must be returned in their original packaging in the same condition that they were despatched. In the extremely unlikely event that your purchased item did not match the description given on this website, we would credit you for the item itself, along with outward and return postage when the item is returned to us. Please ensure that any returns are made by a service where the office has to sign for the parcel on receipt, this protects you against any loss in the post as we can only refund once we receive any item back. Please note that if you return jewellery the Royal Mail will only cover your return parcel against loss or theft if you use Special Delivery.
Right to Cancel
You have the right to cancel any order for up to 7 days after you receive your item. To cancel, you must notify Violet Vintage via email prior to returning the item. You will be refunded once the returned item is safely received. If your goods have already been dispatched, you will be required to return them at your own cost & risk and must do so within 7 days of receipt by you You will be credited for cancelled orders as follows:
a) If your item has not been dispatched you will be credited in full within 2 working days of receipt of your cancellation request
b) If your order has been dispatched: You will need to return the order within 14 days of receipt by you. You will then be credited for the cost of the goods within 2 working days of their safe receipt in the condition that they were delivered to you
Privacy Policy :
Violet Vintage does not disclose buyers information to third parties unless legally required to do so. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents your have entered into your shopping cart . Your financial details are not held by Violet Vintage - they are kept by the financial service provider (Paypal or Google checkout) and we do not have access to these records.
Your Statuary Rights are not affected.
