1930s Hand Enamel Painted Gilt Ship Brooch
Elegant and unusual miniature work of art in the form of a beautifully detailed and coloured hand-enamelled brooch. The scene depicted is of a sailing ship, with a bright cobalt blue sky with golden birds flying past. The image is framed with a delicately engraved border. This gilt backed handmade piece is in great vintage condition, dating to the 1930s. Lovely craftsmanship, this piece fastens with a tiny pull out clasp to secure the pin. The perfect signature piece or gift for a lover of all things nautical. Could also be framed and used in decor.
The brooch measures 52mm long x 36mm wide.
