18ct Gold and Diamond Art Deco 1938 Ring
A beautiful Art Deco 18ct gold ring set with 5 small diamonds in an ornate band. This elegant piece is fully Hallmarked for 18ct Gold, Birmingham 1938 and features a raised setting to an otherwise solid band, with simple but pretty detailing to help the diamonds stand out and sparkle.
The diamonds are c1 - 2mm in diameter and set in a raised lozenge to the top of the band. In very good condition for it’s 80+ years, under a loupe under 30x magnification there is some minor chipping visible to the facets of these antique estate stones, commensurate with age and not visible by eye - the diamonds look great and sparkly and the band is in excellent condition.
A lovely piece to wear for a simple and elegant look, or to stack for drama - or indeed, this would make a unique and accessibly priced antique engagement ring.
