Beautiful Antique Edwardian solid 18ct Gold Ring, star set with a cushion-cut antique natural ruby, flush-set into the tapering band with a pretty and elegant star detail drawing the eye and adding a subtle sparkle.The ruby is a beautiful deep shade of red/pink, and measures c2mm in diameter.

The Chester Assay Office town mark is uniquely identified by a shield containing three wheat sheaves and a sword. This iconic mark was used on gold and silver jewellery until the office officially closed in August 1962.
