Elegant 9ct Gold hand-made fob spinning pendant, set with a beautifully cut light yellow Citrine stone. This delightful and playful pendant brings light to your life with its pretty, eye-catching sparkle. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1961 and 9ct Gold.
Citrine gemstones have long been used in jewellery settings, and the stone is traditionally known to symbolise prosperity, joy, and energy - it is widely known as the "success stone" or “merchant’s stone”, bringing luck with its sunny and elegant light. Citrine is also given as the traditional November birthstone.
1940s - 1960s Hollywood glamour drove a surge in large citrine statement pieces, and this fob would have looked fabulous adorning the neck of a film star!

The citrine measures c20mm wide x 15mm high, with the Fob c22mm x 22mm in total (not inc the ring).
Ther are some tiny scratches/ nibbles to the edges of the facets, as would be expected with a piece of this age. These are barely discernable with the human eye, only really visible when magnified under a loupe or in close up photos.
As with all of our items, this comes boxed in our signature Violet Vintage box and packaging. All items can be sent with a free hand written card with whatever message you wish - just select ‘Gift Message’ as you check out. Items can be further gift wrapped with a choice of tissue paper and our wax seal for an additional £5.
